Yes, indeed. He who knows the future makes the future happen today. But the future she is uncertain. Colleges and universities must and will change due to the innovation wrought by Ai, but the demand for what remains could increase.

Jimmy, you wrote, "Markets coordinate this dispersed knowledge through prices precisely because no central authority can internalize it all." True enough. But I think Hayek's understanding goes even deeper. The information required for central authority to work does not even exist until and unless buyers and sellers interact with bids and asks, because even the buyers and sellers do not possess the information until they voluntarily exchange.
